I’ve painted a Kill Team previously, for Grey Knights. You can find them here. Well now shit gets real because I’ve signed up for a one day Kill Team event in June (2022). Time for a reset – it’s Kill Team take two!

Choosing my Kill Team faction

I’ve been paining Ogors for AoS for ages now and they’re turning into a grind (you can find them here). So I’ve got some fairly straightforward rules for choosing my next faction:

• Armour. I want to paint solid armour rather than flesh
• I want to paint a colour I haven’t painted much before (no purple (my EC), no yellow (my Aeldari), no steel (my GK)).
• I want to paint something I’ve always had my eye on but never got round to

Spoiler Alert – it’s Ultramarines

• Power armour is armour
• I haven’t painted much blue
• I’ve always fancied an UM army. They are such a huge part of the Games Workshop ip and I’ve never had any before
