NO PICS OF THIS GAME – I FORGOT. THANK FUCK.
You know how in every bag of crisps there’s one bad crisp? Well I’ve found that in every WHW event, there’s on bad game. And this was it.
Was Paul a bad guy? I doubt it (but I wouldn’t want to spend my free time with him) but he ticked so many of my ‘Oh come on mate,’ boxes it’s untrue:
- Dice etiquette. a) Use dice people can read. Paul’s dice were awful; different sizes, symbols on a mixture of 6s and 1s, unreadable faces. Absolute dogshit. b) Scrape your misses and leave your hits on the table. I’m not saying Paul scraped any extra hits but it’s just the wrong way to do it
- Measuring an assault distance, agreeing it with me, rolling 1 under the requirement, rerolling and deciding that gets you in after all. Delete my number.
- Moving my models and terrain out of the way and then stacking bases to claim the final objective and win by one point. If it means that much to you, Paul, you’re welcome to it.
